Anson Lazaro is graduating from Kauaʻi Community College this spring with a Certificate of Achievement in Electrical Installation and Maintenance Technology (EIMT). His next step is joining the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) apprenticeship program.
Students in "CM156: Writing for Media" published a podcast called "Kauai Uncanny." The podcast explores the island's paranormal history and folklore.
Join us in congratulating KauaʻiCC alumnus and current UHWO transfer student Travis Antonacci. He was one of two students selected to give a speech this past weekend at UHWO's mid-year ceremony. Travis received his bachelor's in humanities with a concentration in history, and plans to apply to grad programs in the spring.
Kauaʻi Community College’s Kikuchi Center, which honors the late archaeologist and Emeritus Professor William “Pila” Kikuchi, is inviting the public to the center’s first artist showcase. Carol Araki Wyban, will present her book and artwork Tide and Current: Fishponds of Hawaiʻi at 4 p.m. on September 19 in the Learning Resource Center.
